We're Back!

Development drinks are back in full swing after a few months’ hiatus, with comedy writer and performer Natt Tapley joining us in September to talk about heading the writing team on Netflix animated hit, BAD DINOSAURS! 

Our network also took part in another super networking event on September 14th at the Ealing Project. And for October, TV script editor, producer, and trainer, Yvonne Grace joined us to talk about her work and the support she can offer writers and script editors. A lovely group of regular members and new faces gathered last week at the BFI Riverfront, including several writers, directors, producers, actors and developers. 

A number of talented new members joined us for the first time on recommendations from colleagues and mentors, hoping to expand their connections. 

And next month’s featured member – BIFA longlisted debut producer Savannah James-Bayly - dropped by to say hello before a preview of her film LAYLA. 

It was clear some great connections were being made and I look forward to our next gathering in late November - invites out soon.
