Launch Celebration Pictures!

Thanks to all who came along to the launch celebration at the BFI last week. We had a full house, the wine flowed freely and a great night was had by all! The fantastic mix of guests included comedy producer Charlie Hanson and his head of development Katie Mavroleon, producer and script consultant Philip Shelley (one of our guest members this April),  agent Katie Williams of Blake Friedmann, script editor Jamie Wolpert; currently working on a new series for Sky Atlantic and of course Lucy Scher our co-host from The Script Factory.

A big thanks to The Script Factory for helping make it a fantastic evening and to member Jeremiah Quinn who took photos on the night. To see more photos and a blog post about the event you can read more here

More Guest Members Confirmed

We're pleased to be able to confirm an upcoming get together on the subject of building relationships with agents, featuring network member Tanya Tillett of The Rod Hall Agency and Katie Williams of Blake Friedmann. We're also delighted to confirm our first guest for an upcoming discussion on the subject of developing comedy. He's Andrew Ellard; script editor and writer on The IT Crowd.

Many more guests in the pipeline including network member Ross Murray. With eight years experience script editing the likes of Emmerdale, Holby City and Coronation Street, he'll be joining us for drinks and discussion on the subject of script editing long running series. We look forward to learning from the experience of Ross and all our guests over the coming months.

We've loads more up our sleeves, but welcome suggestions for discussion topics and guests. Please let us know if there's someone interesting you can put us in touch with, or would like us to invite. Here's to a great year of get togethers and we'll be happy to raise a glass to celebrate with many of you tonight!
